New Zealand photos

Here are some of my favourite photos from New Zealand, I took over 500 so it was hard choosing! This is Helen and I with our wine tasting group, a bit soggy but very happy, the white island volcano mid mini eruption and lots of photos from my tramp in Abel Tasmin Reserve.

Helen on Vicky

Vicks and I met at University, which seems like a lifetime ago, and have been firm friends ever since. She's a trooper -a true friend who has bailed me out on numerous occasions and is still there to party with me and calm me down when I throw a hissy fit about carrying my luggage. She is going to be a totally AWESOME travel buddy and I can't wait to explore the world with her.

I LOVE Helen, she's great fun, a caring, loyal friend and, most importantly right now, someone who I know will be an excellent travelling buddy. She gets me and (hopefully!) I get her - sure we'll argue every now and then but I know we'll have the best time together.

Taking a sabbatical from Team Boris to travel the world for five months. Leaving behind London glam living for life out of a backpack, and I can't wait. Very much looking forward to experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, trying new food and taking masses of photographs. Scared of dysentery, pregnancy and Thai massage.

Things I'm scared of; getting lost, getting sick, having my things stolen, not being able to speak to people in their own language... Of course these things will happen and I'll have to man up but I also worry about missing friends, family and my home.... There is however no denying that this is an opportunity of a life time, and I intend to make the most of it!

I feel excited, grateful and slightly awestruck at the prospect of seeing so much of the world and I can't wait! After all God made it and reckoned it was good, so I figure it's worth checking out.
